Opportunities to Work With GTI

The Global Training Institute (GTI) works with professionals and organizations to strengthen institutional capacity. Our work includes professional training, technical assistance, research, and collaboration with public and private institutions.

GTI draws on a global network of faculty, alumni, advisers, and technical specialists. Opportunities to contribute depend on the needs of specific programs and projects; this page does not list confirmed vacancies.

Faculty and subject-matter experts

GTI maintains a consortium of approximately 500 adjunct faculty members. The network includes university professors and researchers, government specialists, partners from global law firms, senior private-sector executives, and experts and consultants from donor organizations. GTI brings together scholarly knowledge, practical experience, and global best practices to support its training programs.

Professionals with relevant teaching, policy, legal, financial, procurement, governance, or information-technology experience can contact GTI to introduce their expertise and areas of interest.

Technical consultants and advisers

GTI assembles teams to assess, design, and support technical projects. Areas of work include IT consultancy, network installation and auditing, business-regulation review, contract standardization, legislative drafting, procurement, project management, and focused studies. Project teams are tailored to the needs of each assignment and may support work ranging from a day to several years.

Institutional and program collaboration

GTI advises public and private organizations, governments, and international development organizations. Institutions seeking training, research, or technical assistance can contact GTI with a summary of their goals, the people or systems they aim to support, and the type of assistance they are considering. GTI can discuss tailored approaches in response to inquiries and requests for proposals.

Professional training

GTI training serves professionals from the public and private sectors. Program topics include management, procurement, IT auditing, legal issues, negotiations and contracts, oil and gas, and institutional capacity building.
