GTI was founded in 2010 to assist in the building of strong governmental and economic institutions and strengthen IT infrastructures in the USA and beyond. Since that time, GTI has provided training and technical assistance to find practical solutions to the bottlenecks that exist in the economic, legal and financial frameworks of developing countries and emerging economies. In 2013, GTI became an independent, not for profit organization. GTI now stands as a leading authority and global provider of training and technical assistance relating to international economics, law, IT and financial issues. The Institute is headquartered in South Plainfield, NJ, and has independent regional centers in Nairobi, Kenya; Abuja, Nigeria; Cairo, Egypt; Santiago, Chile; and Istanbul, Turkey.
GTI has provided training to over 20,000 government officials in capacity building, including IT handlers and private business professionals. GTI also provides technical expertise to developing nations in the design of their own IT and economic infrastructures, in an effort to further promote good and efficient governance.
GTI presents approximately 30 - 40 core-training programs each year in our facility in South Plainfield, NJ. Another 5-10 specialized programs are conducted annually in the U.S. and abroad, at the request of foreign governments, the World Bank, or other sponsoring agencies.
